Wingfield Barns

On the Norfolk/Suffolk border in the historic village of Wingfield is Wingfield Barns. Built in the 16th century, the barns now form an intimate complex of beautifully converted event space sfor theatre, arts, and private hire.

The barns are next to the lovely St Andrews church and are also licensed for civil ceremonies with indoor and outdoor spaces for up to 100 guests.

There are also excellent exhibition spaces and meeting rooms with ultra-fast broadband, and plenty of free parking.

Wingfield barns

Syleham & WIngfield Sports and Social Club – Village Hall, Syleham

The village hall, located in Syleham but serving the communities of both Syleham and Wingfield, was once the local church school. It was leased to the communities in 1982 and is now a well-appointed building with easy access and ample car parking

The hall is air conditioned with a stage, bar, lounge area and separate meeting / pool room, all with wi-fi internet access. There is a large kitchen and one of the toilets is accessible to the disabled.

The hall has been home to a thriving sports and social club for over 30 years. Annual membership is £3.50 (Senior Citizens £3.00) and the bar is open to members, their families and guests from 8pm on Tuesday and Friday nights, when darts and pool are available.

The hall is used for parish council meetings and fund raising events for both Syleham and Wingfield and is also available for hire.
